Procurement School
8 modules + integrated Capstone Case · 5 Thursdays, 14 January – 11 February 2027 · 09:30–16:30

The Procurement School is not a conventional, run-of-the-mill training: through interactive teaching, real-life examples and case solutions, it aims to adapt a methodology that can be applied in practice to your company. Each of the eight modules is designed to move your procurement maturity level one step up.

Capstone Case — End-to-End Application of All Modules (full day)
A system, not just a training
The modules do not stop at explaining the subject: each module provides tools that can be applied in your procurement department, together with methods for using these tools. In the case studies, teams can work with their own company data if they wish — you start using the tools with your own figures before the programme has even finished.
Why the sequence matters
Taking the modules in sequence allows all components of the system to be understood correctly and applied step by step within the company. Each module builds on the output of the previous one: spend analysis feeds segmentation, cost breakdown feeds negotiation, and all of them together feed the procurement strategy.
Capstone Case — End-to-End Application of All Modules
The Capstone Case is not a separate lesson; it is the system built over the eight modules, run from start to finish in a single scenario: over one full day, a procurement process is managed end to end with all the tools. In closed-group (single-company) programmes, the case can be worked on with the company's real data.
- Portfolio diagnosis: Kraljic positioning of current suppliers and, for each one, the critical distinction — is it a price problem or a cost problem?
- From discovery to target cost: Supplier discovery, cost breakdown and setting the target cost
- Cyclical relationship management: Building relationship management aligned with all departments, from bottleneck hunting in the tender to supplier evaluation
- Cost-breakdown negotiation: Negotiating with the supplier on cost components, with transparent criteria
- Comparing offers with AI: Having AI compare the offers on a TCO basis and building the supplier evaluation table
- Contract clauses: Preparing protective contract clauses and drafting them with AI
- Price tracking with getcifa: Monitoring price change processes with getcifa and using raw material forecast reports in relationship management
- Price-problem track: For a supplier with a price problem, alternative supplier discovery and an exit plan; redesigning the tender on our own side — splitting the bucket purchase into two separate tenders, a metal handle manufacturer for handle expertise and a plastic injection supplier; adding the volume of other products that use the handle to create a volume effect; and trying out mini segmentation
- Cost-problem track: For a supplier with a cost problem (strategic or potential), generating product, process and supply chain optimisation projects
- Category strategy: Building the category strategy and the required supplier criteria in line with the sales and brand strategy and the corporate vision and mission
Those who complete the programme receive a Maturity Level 3–4 procurement competence certificate; graduates get 60 days of Basic access to getcifa.com.
After the training
After the training, mentoring is available for setting up and applying the system in your company — we can run the first 90 days together.
